Jackie Robinson is a baseball legend and civil rights icon, known for breaking major league baseball’s longstanding color barrier while with the Brooklyn Dodgers. However, before Jackie became known as  #42, he was #9, as a member of the Montreal Royals, an affiliated minor league franchise.
