'Glass of Thrones Belfast' in Northern Ireland

The popular and award-winning HBO-produced television program Game of Thrones was based on a series of fantasy novels written by the American novelist George R. R. Martin. Most of the filming took place primarily in and around Northern Ireland. To pay homage to the prosperity and boom in the tourist industry the series generated for the city, a series of six stained glass panels were erected along a pedestrian walkway in the city’s Titanic District.
