Montauk Springs is actually two sets of springs. One set pumps into the fish hatchery and the other set bubbles up along the sand bar of Pigeon Creek. These springs form the headwaters of the Current River. The shallow depth of the springs makes for a gorgeous sight. Multiple sand boils are visible from the Pigeon Creek banks.
