This small monument, with several graves, markers, and a flagpole was designed to commemorate American Revolution soldiers who died in a makeshift hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Many were buried on the nearby hillside. There are supposedly more than 500 soldiers buried nearby in unmarked graves in an area that was once outside the town but is now a residential neighborhood.
