This huge mural has been a feature of the area around Leeds Corn Exchange for over 30 years. Artist Graeme Wilson, who painted the mural in 1990, hailed from nearby Ilkley and was a graduate of Reading University before going on to have a varied career. Wilson worked in all sorts of mediums, as well as lectured at various art institutions before succumbing to cancer in 2018.
