Castelvecchio Museum in Verona, Italy

The Castelvecchio (Old Castle) is an imposing military structure from the 14th-century, commissioned by the powerful Della Scala (commonly known as Scaligeri). With little decoration and composed of bricks of a soft red, it stands along the Adige River on the west side of the historic center.
