Located on the tip of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, about two hours north of Reykjavik, the village of Hellissandur has gained a reputation as the street art capital of Iceland. In the summer of 2019, a team of international artists including Camilo Arias, Ban Pesk, and Luis Rincon transformed an abandoned warehouse and several unadorned buildings into 30 large works of art.
